Multiple generations of the Casoni family have refined this formula: an infusion of gentian, cinchona (quinine), bitter and sweet orange, mugwort, rhubarb, mint, and licorice, cold extracted over the course of a month to preserve delicate aromatics. At 23% ABV, Il Bitter is more assertive than many competitorsit stands up in a
