They're perfect for start up weaving programs because they require little additional equipment, are easy to use and understand, and don't take much storage space. We build our inkle looms from hard maple for years of heavy use. The Schacht inkle loom has one open side for easy warping. Adjust warp tension with the tension bar and knob. Warps can be up to 4. 5" wide and 8. 5' long.
