Marques de Caceres was founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner, who came home from Bordeaux with French ideas about barrels and freshness and quietly helped rewrite the rulebook for modern Rioja from the village of Cenicero. The Crianza is the house calling card: mostly Tempranillo from Rioja Alta with a little Garnacha and Graciano, aged in oak long enough to pick up spice and polish without burying the fruit. This is the
