Thomas Hope Style Painted & Water Gilded Torchere A480-90 5cm | Depth: 183cmAn early 19th century style painted and water gilded torchere specially commissioned and inspired from a original Thomas Hope design. The inset round top in black marble with grey veining is surrounded with intricate carving. A finely carved central column is surrounded by four supports terminating a lion paw feet, on a plinth base which stands on four block feet. The piece was transported in its raw solid mahogany state to our Devon workshops where
