The result is a unique, multi layered spirit that releases the taste sensations of malt whisky with the flavours and aromas of heather, honey, herbs and spices. In 1745, Bonnie Prince Charlie gave the recipe for this essence, his last remaining possession at the time, to Captain John MacKinnon. It was a reward for saving
