These mitts are made up of a 100% cotton lining, Insulbright (heat reflective fabric made in USA), then a layer of 100% cotton batting and the 100% cotton of the exterior fabric. In the palm area I use two layers of cotton batting and the Insulbright to provide extra protection where it is needed most and to help absorb steam.
