Our Modern Claw Style snare hoops are crafted with an inset cut that covers the heads metal collar from the side view and comes with a snare gate for snare wires on bottom hoop

This classic old school type of hoop is constructed for use with claws to tension the drum head in the fashion of a standard bass drum hoop and is built from Hard Maple plies for great durability

All Maple 4 ply construction

this allows for a shorter hoop that comes with a nicer price tag than the SP version (which conceals the head's metal ring)

All hoops are custom made to order-  please allow 2 to 4 weeks to build after purchase

Peruvian Walnut Segmented Snare (14x6”) Bass Drum Hoops Our Modern Claw Style snareThis is a one of a kind Stellar snare drum built with a 14x6 Peruvian Walnut segmented shell (3 16 thick) and contrasting Maple re rings. On the hardware end are 10 stylish chrome tube lugs and a beer tap style strainer butt to help keep this extremely light shelled drum clean looking and low in weight. This beautiful snare is topped off with a pair of unique Stellar die cast shaped Birdseye Maple hoops and Birdseye badge.
