belonging to long-time friends of the Borgogno family who share their viticultural philosophy • Soil composition of solid gray marl alternating with layers of sand  • 12-15 day maceration/fermentation with selected yeasts in 35 HL upright oak fermenters • Ages in large Slavonian oak cask (25HL) with maturation in bottle for an additional 6 months

and very much in accordance with the nose

complex bouquet of ripe red fruit with a touch of toast and spice

but don’t let this deter additional aging for years to come
