This is a photo that I’ve dreamed of capturing for many years and after 17 years as a wildlife photographer the opportunity finally presented itself when this stunning male strode to the top of a rise and sat down to survey his territory

I was delighted to find this impressive Silverback Gorilla and especially by how relaxed he was with my presence

the scapula and hip are able to rotate to such an extreme angle that the cheetah's front and hind legs overlap when at full speed
