As it is still very young, there are some tight tannins on the long and spicy finish that will mellow with a few years aging. Underbrush, scorched earth, chopped mint and roasted berry aromas lead the nose. The taut palate offers mature black cherry, clove, dried sage and toasted nut alongside tightly wound tannins that leave a firm finish.
