From my research it seems that this might be compatible with other Yamaha 4hp 4-stroke outboards 2000-2006 & newer (and maybe even older stuff as Yamaha had a very inconsistent parts numbering system)

This was used on 1984-1989 Various 40hp-150hp Force Models (and possibly others)

For the most part it seems these parts were used from 1983-1989 on "470" models that used a 4" Heat exchanger ****(not the smaller 3" model)****
