Chateau Carbonnieux (case of 12) LOCATION:Default Title 100% Oloroso Sherry MaturationThe color is a deep, dark, opaque black purple. Aromas are of graphite, dark plum & rich licorice. The palate is fresh with a concentrated licorice fruit. Then fine tannins have a slight greenish bite that is mouth watering rather than particularly astringent. The mid palate is medium to full bodied, dense, extracted & fairly subdued, with tary touches. The finish is long & structured but shows plenty of juicy cassis fruit.
