At doses of up to 30 micrograms per kilogram (g/kg), researchers noted that CJC-1295 DAC caused the following side effects: Mild injection site reactions Itching Headaches Pain Diarrhea Hypertension Induration The studys authors noted that around 70 percent of the test subjects who received CJC-1295 DAC experienced one or more of these side effects and that the severity of the reactions increased with doses over 30 g/kg
Bruises from previous injections Redness or ongoing irritation Scars or stretch marks Hard lumps from lipodystrophy Moles, birthmarks, or skin lesions Tattoos (the ink can make it harder to see reactions) Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab using a circular motion from the center outward
