Antique Edwardian 12k Gold Starburst Pendant, 1 2/8" Brooch, Diamond, Seed Pearl inkwell for your own reviewOne of my favorite starburst brooches in my collection, this one is set with a diamond along with the swirls and star points of seed pearls. An Edwardian era mourning brooch, the star and diamond represent the heavens, and the seed pearls represent the tears of the mourner, as they did in Victorian times and earlier. We begin to see these starbursts in the late 1800s to very early 1900s, and this one is a dual duty functional one both a hinged bale to
