I have walked past the Governor's Mansion in Denver many times and have always noticed the lines of the fence which surrounds the location

The late afternoon light was lighting up the remaining fall colors on a nice November day

For two year prior to this the Colorado Rockies played at Mile High Stadium which is now the location of the parking lot next to Sports Authority Field

With the warm temperatures the few days before this the accumulated snow did not amount to much but even so I grabbed my camera and headed out into the city

A new year has begun and I took the opportunity to photograph the first sunrise of 2013 in Denver

Winter at Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" I have walked past theTaking advantage of a large snowfall in Denver, I headed to Sloans Lake which is along the western border of Denver. Walking around the lake I noticed this flowing tree and started to photograph it with the lake in the background. I sort of laughed to myself as it does have a little similarity to the image Winter in Washington Park which I have photographed a few times before as well.
