This tower sits 162 feet high and provides views of the Denver area from the location of the school near City Park

Today I was in the area and thought about photographing the same scene without the snow

Some of the more noticeable reminders of the past are the large hangars which remain

but also for exercise at other items by many people in the Denver area

The result was the distance starting to become out of focus and let the viewer imagine their own thoughts on the location

Observatory Park in the Winter Size:16"x20" This tower sits 162 feetThe Chamberlin Observatory is located at Observatory Park near the University of Denver. The observatory originally opened in 1890 and features a 20 inch refracting telescope. As a late January snow fell on the city I was out exploring new locations to photograph in the snow and found myself at the park. The flakes filled the sky and made the park into a snow globe feel on a day when the observatory itself would also just need to enjoy the scene.
