Thibaud Boudignon, Rosé de Loire 2025 Chardonnay so expect some nuttyPlace: Loire, France Grape: Cab Franc + Grolleau Vibe: Tasty As IYKYK pink wine. Cult y. 25 year old vines on shallow soils of grey schist, rhyolite, and sand. Fermented cool in stainless with native yeasts for two to three weeks, then a short spell in tank to settle before bottling. Bone dry and insanely refreshing. A little texture but no malo, so still cutting and tense. Gastronomic, with red apple and cherry layered with a smoky, mineral edge.
