this is an attractive mix of beautiful fruit and ample Gevrey character

The 2010 Barolo is a delicately aged Nebbiolo with fine aromas of pressed rose petal

crispness and bite

it soars out of the glass with seductive notes of crème de cassis

but very much at its sweet spot for drinking

Thibault Liger Belair, Richebourg Vintage:2021 this is an attractive mix(from a . 52 ha parcel). A very fresh but tight and reserved nose of highly spiced and nuanced red and blue pinot fruit that precedes big bodied flavors that are classic Richebourg as theyre cool, classy, powerful and tautly muscular with excellent detail and subtle minerality on the spicy, mouth coating and moderately austere and linear finish. This is a lighter wine for the appellation but there is plenty of character and its focused like a laser.
