Striptease Hosta FB amaryillis20" tall, 36" spread, part full shade, pale violet flowers. Pointy, ovate leaves have sharply contrasting dark green margins and narrow, gold centers. Looks like a gold leaf within another leaf. A unique hosta which received its name from the white strip appearing between the dark green margin and gold center. Attracts hummingbirds. Zones 3 9. Potted in 3" pot. Hosta grow best in moist, well drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5. 5 and 7.
