Jean-Paul Droin, Chablis Valmur Vintage:2019 Strong wood and menthol characters

Strong wood and menthol characters bury the fruit at present

the first bordeaux variety to reach maturity

It is every bit as remarkable as my comments suggest

There is a wonderfully refined mouth feel to the seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that are finer but less obviously mineral-inflected than the Sentiers on the impressively persistent finish

revealing some leafy secondary characteristics

Jean-Paul Droin, Chablis Valmur Vintage:2019 Strong wood and menthol characters(from recently replanted vines totaling 1. 04 ha; aged in 50% wood but only a small percentage is new). A background dollop of wood surrounds pungent aromas of mineral reduction, petrol and green fruit. The spicy flavors dont possess quite the same mid palate concentration though there is still plenty of punch and muscle on the sneaky long and nicely complex finale. (91 93) 2026+
