Thousands of people showed up for the free concert by the Colorado Symphony and fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day

From street level I positioned some of the non-repeating detail into the upper section of the frame and captured this image of the building

A couple of years ago I headed to City Park to capture the morning light in the park

Now that fall is here the park will start to close down at the higher elevations as the snow will soon start to fly in northern Montana

Fall in City Park Reflection Using a dirt roadWhile photographing the Denver skyline at sunset in the not too far distance I noticed this tree and the color of the leaves. With some time prior to sunset I headed over to the area to photograph the tree. Using a zoom lens I was able to capture the color of the leaves but also the interesting trunk and branches which was one of the elements which drew my interest.
