Acer palmatum 'Calico' Japanese Maple Size:size 2 (2 yrs old) they hold their individuality whileA soft orange spring color similar to A. p. Katsura, changing to green for summer and multi colored in the fall. The bark on this tree is a wonderful feature, as the tree matures the bark becomes a pale yellow. Great contrast to the orange spring color. Calico is considerably smaller than Katsura and therefore much better for containers and small gardens.
