Made from 100% estate grown, Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello) grapes, hand harvested from vineyards planted approximately 350m above sea level. Traditional red wine production, following the strict rules of the Consorzio. Riservas are released in January, the sixth year after the harvest. La Lecciaia aged this wine for approximately 48 months in large Slavonian oak casks, with a further 16 months refinement in bottle before release.
