2023 | Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay | Margaret River Campo de Borja Incredibly deep and complex nose

Incredibly deep and complex nose for the 2021 vintage with masses of forest berry

and on the palate the Wisselbrunnen impresses with its enormous concentration

while a percentage of whole clusters add to the wine’s complexity

A touch of oak adds texture and warmth

A truly marvellous wine that should be consumed with only the finest cuisine

2023 | Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay | Margaret River Campo de Borja Incredibly deep and complex noseFrom an excellent vintage and from the distinctive "Gingin" clone, Vasse's top Chardy is an opulent but extremely well woven wine that drinks beautifully now but could cellar for decades. Roast nuts, flint and beach shells are at the fore, alongside subtle salted citrus and melon. There's weight, power, texture to the palate, with length and poise. An excellent example of this world class Western Aussie style. 96 Pts Wine Enthusiast
