The tree above is one I first found in early 2008 and went looking for it in the snow

In the plaza of the Federal buildings in Chicago is the Flamingo sculpture by Alexander Calder

I drove to Coronado and took some images after battling the temptation to sleep in that morning with the sound of heavy rain heard against the window as my alarm went off before sunrise

This is a closeup of a larger piece of ice which we circled around on a zodiac while keeping our distance for safety

Old Bus Colors Size:16"x20" The tree above is oneAs an old bus sat in the elements at Old Car City the weather has started to show its impacts on the paint. The yellow of the bus is slowly getting stripped off and maybe even showing a different color it was painted before getting to the steel of the bus and rust. The mix of the colors grabbed my attention for some time as the weathering is uneven and allows for interesting shapes to be found.
