When I got to the lake in below freezing temperatures the steam was rising from the lake

The tree next to the water with the snow still falling is what grabbed my attention

The reason why the opening gate was late in 1995 is not to allow time for the stadium to be complete

The glass reflecting the background building while post showing their vertical lines caught my eye in this image

Boats along the Charles River Size:8"x10" Nevada to photograph the morningOn a summer morning in Boston I went for a walk along the Charles River. After crossing the Longfellow Bridge I walked along the north side by MIT when I noticed the colors on these small sailboats. With the morning calm the boats and their color reflected in the water as I used the edge to separate the image on a diagonal, bringing a little tension into the scene.
