Developed through extensive flow bench testing, it addresses the primary restriction caused by the factory snorkel, which limits intake flow. Instead of replacing the snorkel, Dinan engineered a secondary open air inlet on the upper lid, measuring 12 square inches, to increase air volume without raising turbo inlet temperatures.
