Stirm Wine Co. Los Chuchaquis 'Bandido', San Benito County, USA 2020 Cantina Orsogna and maraschino cherries while beingThe Los Chucahquis Bandido is so easy to love with explosive aromatics of purple blossom and bouncy red fruit. The palate is light but with textural density that is washed away by quartzy acidity. There is a lot of energy and a bit of tension with a dusty savory spice that reminds you of the hot and arid climate this comes from. Charmingly rustic yet has a depth and structure that belies the talented folks behind the bottle.
