This Sadowsky custom features a chambered Okoume body in a J style platform an uncommon combination, and one that shapes the tone of this bass meaningfully. Okoume is a lightweight African hardwood that, when chambered, produces a resonant, airy quality compared to solid alder or ash. Paired with the 34" scale, maple neck, and ebony fretboard, expect a faster attack and slightly less low mid weight.
