Incredibly soft SUPERWASH 18 micron Merino wool combed top. The SUPERWASH* bases accept the dye pigments super fast, resulting in strong colors with much more definition been colors. This is also the cause of the white spots, which I love, as they add a lot of variation as the fiber is drafted. *Although this fiber is treated so it will not felt, I highly recommend hand washing and laying
