Condition: I'd say the top and bottom center are a little clipped but that's about the only thing I can find wrong with the piece

The reverse shows a long line with traces of lead solder - this would have been where the pinstem was

just light surface marks and small specks of brown that just show up on celluloid with old age

Revival French Ribbonwork Spray - Dress Hat Hanky Holder Applique mixed media Condition: I'd say the topNeeding only a few stitches to make ready for use, here's a mid century piece of ribbonwork. Found on an old hanky holder, the center trio of florals are pink, french blue and ice blue silk. The back leaves are French ombre that appear to be cotton. Size is 2 3 8" x 1 1 8". Entirely handsewn. Can be glued, sewn or pinned to a project but the piece should be removed before cleaning as silk can only be dry cleaned. Uses? A doll's hat, an embellishment
