Antique French 14k Gold and Kiln-fired Enamel Brooch and Screwback Earrings Set, Demi Parure print Many of the world's greatsA delightful demi parure, 3 piece Belle Epoch set of kiln fired enamel plaque and 14k gold jewelry (the screw backs and chains, small safeguard pin are in 14k gold). The screw back was invented in 1890, and many Art Nouveau (Belle Epoch) jewelry items of that era through to WWII were made in this manner, avoiding pierced ears. I found this French set in London ages ago. NOTE: The photos taken on a couple antique boxes are to get good color balances
