Conestabile della Staffa, Rosato 2024 Nebbiolo with fruit coming from six

with fruit coming from six different plots on Mount Etna

blue fruited with plenty of acidity derived from both soil and the cooler microclimate enjoyed here

but that drops away to deliver a sumptuous array of tart red fruit and five spice

Plenty of crunchy red fruits with a slightly herbal finish to keep things interesting

it's bright and overtly red fruited with svelte tannins binding it all together

Conestabile della Staffa, Rosato 2024 Nebbiolo with fruit coming from sixPlace: Umbria, Italy Grape: Sangiovese Vibe: Liquid Sunshine The Italians are the king of ros. Offering depth and serious flavor that most pale pinks simply don't have. Strawberry fruited with a touch of Sangiovese spice, there's herbal scrub and a little grip that makes the mind wander to days spent in a Trattoria. Carbonara would be an obvious choice, but I reckon you could throw pretty much anything at this and it'd still hold its own. ABV: 12%
