Last Light at Black Canyon Size:48x72 structuresBlack Canyon of the Gunnison, Colorado This photograph was made at Black Canyon of the Gunnison, perched on a narrow ledge overlooking the river far below. I spent hours in that position, waiting and working through subtle changes as the light moved across the canyon walls. The sun settled perfectly into the center of the frame, an alignment I couldnt have planned better myself. The canyon is steep, compressed, and unforgiving. From this vantage
