Domaine de l'Iserand, Chasselas 2024 Chardonnay La Marechaude was recently upgradedPlace: Rhne, France Grape: Chasselas Vibe: Vibey This is a ripper, a stunning first wine to taste on our visit to l'Iserand back in March. I was luckily fairly fresh off a bottle of Gonon Chasselas, so my radar was on. Direct pressed into amphora for ferment and maturation, there's nice roundness, plenty of zip and a beautifully faint tannin structure that keeps everything tucked in. The only issue is that there isn't much to go around :( ABV: 12%
