The first firing consists of a layer of strips of glass, including dichroic, that are fused to form a flat sheet. Subsequent firing fused the strips, including many dichroic pieces. so they just tack on top and creates depth. Topped off with a sprinkling of dichroic. This is mounted on a round brushed stainless steel plate that is ready for hanging. 10"
