Balanus is a silver and resin necklace that combines a section from a design I created in my sketchbook of a barnacle with very tiny blue and gold beads that accentuate the radiating shape

The silver plated pendant design is embellished with delicate pink beads which highlight the colours in the main design

The beaded detail brings depth and interest to the pendant

This bag uses wet cyanotype techniques where the area is made wet and treated with acid or alkali liquids to create different effects

Cyanotype is a photographic process where two chemicals, when mixed, become light sensitive and can be used to create photographs using sunlight.
