This is unoaked Syrah from a vineyard planted in the early 1960s

with decent dosage of 6g/l balancing out an extraordinary acid line

but also a pretty reductive nose

Guessing the freshness here is due to the exposition and this is what I'm going hard for both in the short and long term

with each individually washing for 4 days before being pressed

Old school Italian fizz that is equal parts fresh and frothy. So good to see Glera made with real personality, instead of the usual Prosecco plonk thats given the grape such a bad rap. Bone dry and full of citrus, with a sourdough, yeasty vibe that makes this both complex and compelling. ABV: 10%
