Orange Bakelite Earrings Handbeaded The pendant is the original

The pendant is the original head to the toy and the articulated plastic green body segments form one side of the necklace

Lucite was developed in the 1930s and was originally used for military aircraft windshields

I started out with great gusto attaching them to the pendant on this piece

To the top there is a medallion with girl guide badge and finally a small locket

Lucite brooches from the 1940s-60s are becoming a favourite of mine but I want to interpret them in a different way

Orange Bakelite Earrings Handbeaded The pendant is the originalThese gorgeous orange earrings were originally mid century clip on earrings which had lost their clips. I have added a green handbeaded edging to give them a refreshed look and added good quality gold filled earring hooks. These earrings are pictured with Green Teapot Stand Necklace which is available as a separate listing.
