A lovely old Edward Preston Architects Folding Rule (Boxwood) marked out in inches up to 2ft / 24"

fitted with a I Sorby tapered plane iron and I Sorby cap iron

The hollow plane has some early characteristics and a very worn makers name which I can't quite make out

Rear wedge appears to have been replaced
