Antique French Oil Painting in Fine 35" x 29.5" Frame, Portrait of a Gentleman from Napoleon III Era bohemian glass otherwise it is wonderful consideringHis fashion and goatee, mustache and hair place him in the Napoleon III era, to perhaps as late as 1900. The fine portrait in oil is done on canvas which remains on its wood stretcher. I've noted the measurement of the painting aperture because it's a little difficult to be certain of the full stretched painting from behind. The gold frame (wood) is overly broad and created a fine display. Full measurements noted on the photos. Very good to excellent
