This is the first edition, published in June 1974. It appears this is a special number 2 volume of a collection of Ballantines Illustrated History of the Violent Century. It contains over 100 color photos. This book itself has now become a collectible. I remember when many collectors first started collecting, this book was their bible. Boy, that was back in the dark ages.
