We found a fabulous vintage beadwork star design which we have backed and added a beading edging to

sewn it onto an oval background and edged with beads to give it a new lease of life as a brooch as it's far too pretty to be hidden away in a cupboard

We have carefully rethreaded it to give it a new and sturdy life on a necklace of vintage and wood beads

They are strung to a purple and pink bead necklace

Finally I decided on a pendant and then added that to a string of silvery coloured beads

Handmade Vintage Dress Clip Brooch Vintage We found a fabulous vintageThis was originally a 1920s Czech dress clip and although broken had retained all of its pretty colourful rhinestones intact. By chance I already had a bow pin in a similar style. The two were made for each other. The brooch is edged with colourful beads and it has an emerald green back.
